Talk abstract:
Understanding of pandemics depends on characterization of pathogen collections from well-defined cohorts. We couple both host and virus genomics with demographic and temporal information to:
- Delineate cross-country transmission of virus
- Identify genetic interactive effects between host and virus
- Link intrahost virus genetic diversity with disease progression
- Find global prevalence of key virus mutations
