Talk abstract:

Understanding of pandemics depends on characterization of pathogen collections from well-defined cohorts. We couple both host and virus genomics with demographic and temporal information to:

• Delineate cross-country transmission of virus
• Identify genetic interactive effects between host and virus
• Link intrahost virus genetic diversity with disease progression
• Find global prevalence of key virus mutations
