Join us if you enjoy thinking about microbes, evolution, and its consequences for human health! We are always interested to add creative and motivated people to our interdisciplinary lab that combines expertise in computational genomics, microbiology, and human history.

We are currently looking for a postdoctoral researcher to work on the transmission and colonization of the developing microbiome using whole-genome data. Everybody with expertise in bioinformatics, evolution, and microbiome research is highly encouraged to apply!

Master and Bachelor students who are interested to work at the interface of microbiology and bioinformatics are welcome to apply for a thesis project or a HiWi position.
